Welcome to TrinMarie Photography. I’m Joslynne and I would love to be your lifetime photographer. I am primarily a self-taught artist and have learned photography through research and experience. I have a para-professional background in Graphic Design and professional experience as a model. It’s no surprise to me that I landed behind the camera. I picked up my first semi professional camera in 2012. Not to really become a photographer but because my daughter needed “update images” for the modeling agency she was signed to in 2010. Taking a look back, way back, too even before needing to take pictures of my daughter, photography was a major part of my life. I did not recognize it’s importance in my life at the time.
Photographs were a significant part of my family’s culture growing up. Flipping through old photo albums as a child is something that my family did regularly. Hearing the stories that surround the people in the photographs, whether I knew them or not, was always exciting. Seeing these moments frozen in time, I could imagine myself being there.
I truly believe that photographs help preserve fun moments and important memories. They spark conversation and storytelling of your family & life history. No moment is too big or too small to reminisce about if it was captured in a photo and kept for future family members. These visual trinkets keep us connected to our life’s history. A journey that not only includes ourselves but our friends, family, life achievements and milestones.
The thought of being part of capturing ones life in a moment, is moving. This is why I chose to be the woman behind the camera. To create photographs that help tell an everlasting story.
